After the discovery of around fifty bodies discovered in Khan Younes, the civil defense of the Gaza Strip claimed, Monday April 22, to have exhumed over the last three days around 200 bodies of people killed and buried by Israeli forces. The remains were found in mass graves inside the city’s Nasser Hospital.
“Our teams continue to find bodies within the Nasser Medical Complex and since Saturday the bodies of around 200 martyrs have been exhumed”, Mahmoud Bassal, a Civil Defense spokesperson, told AFP. Due to the decomposition of some bodies, “the identification process is difficult, but efforts must continue”he added. The Israeli army has not yet reacted to these accusations.
