Monday, July 25, the President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun Pivetis the guest of “4 Truths” on France 2. She returns to the vote, Sunday July 24 at the Assembly, of a text which provides for the reimbursement by theState of 120 million euros to local authorities to finance the RSA. As a reminder, the government did not want it, but it still been adopted thanks to the contribution of the votes of deputies of the Horizons party. “What you have to infer from this is that nothing is decided in advance. (…) What I regret is when it engages public finances to such an extent”says Yael Braun Pivet.

The President of the National Assembly then returns to the abolition of the audiovisual license fee, voted by the deputies on Saturday July 23: “It is the abolition of a tax which affected the French in a homogeneous way. (…) It will be replaced by a fraction of the value added tax (VAT). There is no question of abolishing or lower the funding of public broadcasting, but there was talk of removing a tax for the French.
