British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson could well be the one to succeed Daniel Craig in the role of the legendary secret agent James Bond. According to the newspaper The Sunthe company behind the films in the series, Eon Productions, made him an offer.
“Bond is Aaron’s job, if he wants to take it. The official offer is on the table and they are waiting for a response,” a source told the British tabloid.
According to the same source, the contract should be signed this week.
Since we know that Daniel Craig will not return to the cult role he has defended since 2006, rumors about his successor have abounded. The names of actors Idris Elba, Cillian Murphy and Henry Cavill have notably been mentioned in recent years.
Aged 33, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is best known as the interpreter of Kick-Ass in the film series of the same name. In 2017, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the thriller Nocturnal Animals.
