Aaron Spelling: His house for sale for a crazy sum, discover “Le Manoir”

Purchase, resale, work… The stars are active on the real estate market, and do not skimp on the means to develop their homes. A villa that once belonged to a Hollywood legend has been put up for sale. Who will spend the requested fortune to afford it?

This house, nicknamed The Manor, is located in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. It was built for Aaron Spelling and his widow, Candy Spelling, parents of actress Tori Spelling. The late series producer (Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, 7 at home, Charmed…) lived there until his death on June 23, 2006. Since then, the villa has passed through the hands of several owners, including the heiress Petra Ecclestone, daughter of billionaire Bernie Ecclestone. She had acquired it in 2011, for the sum of 85 million dollars (nearly 75 million euros), paid in cash.

the Los Angeles Times specifies that Le Manoir now has 123 rooms, including 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, a tanning room, a games room, a bookstore, a cinema and a bowling alley. Outside, several terraces, a swimming pool, a spa and a tennis court will offer future owners well-being and leisure.

These future buyers will have to pay a small fortune: the real estate agency Hilton & Hyland is claiming 165 million dollars, or just over 145 million euros.
