A fatal road accident took place on Wednesday August 10 in the Hautes-Pyrénées, near Argelès-Gazost. A 21-year-old woman fell off her motorcycle whileshe was driving on the departmental 821, a 2X2 lane not far from the Tour de Vidalos. Seriously injured, she did not survive the accident. She was in cardio-respiratory arrest when paramedics arrived. They tried to revive her, but without success. She eventually died on the spot.
