A 22-year-old young man was shot and killed on the night of Saturday September 24 to Sunday September 25, in a commercial area of Wasquehal, in the Lille metropolis.
It was the municipal police who arrived first on the scene, around 10 p.m. this Saturday. Then the emergency services discovered in turn a man lying on the ground. His wounds were caused by a gun. They tried to resuscitate him with a defibrillator, to no avail. The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation is opened by the Lille prosecutor’s office. “A 26-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.“, indicates the public prosecutor this Sunday.
