A young man and a teenager implicated in a double attempted murder in Montreal

A double attempted murder involving teenagers occurred in the early evening, Thursday, in the borough of Anjou, in Montreal.

The first victim, a young man of 20, was located in a car on Place Cointerel. Shot in the upper body, he was transported to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The second victim of this double attempted murder is a 17 year old teenager. He was discovered on the Boulevard des Galeries d’Anjou, superficially injured. He was also transported to a hospital from which he was discharged later in the evening, said SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.

The latter will be met by the investigators assigned to the case.

The incident occurred around 7.15 p.m. on Boulevard des Roseraies, at the corner of Avenue de la Nantaise.

Investigators and technicians were dispatched to the scene, while a security perimeter and a command post were erected for the sake of the investigation.
