a young Dutch skier seriously injured in La Plagne

Around 3:30 p.m., this Saturday February 12, a young 19-year-old Dutch skier suffered a heavy fall in La Plagne. He was with friends when he arrived on skis, at high speed, on a toboggan run. He then fell, alone. His stick accidentally stuck in his thigh.

The young man, suffering from a major thigh wound, was taken care of by the rescuers of the Modane PGHM. He was evacuated, with the Choucas 73 helicopter, to Grenoble hospital.

This Saturday, February 12, the Modane PGHM carried out eight interventions.
