A toddler and two adults were in a car that rolled over on Sunday in Lanoraie, in Lanaudière. The young child and the 29-year-old driver had only minor injuries, while the 26-year-old passenger had more serious ones.
However, we do not fear for our lives, assured Ève Brochu-Joubert, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec. The accident occurred shortly before noon on Highway 40 westbound, she detailed.
“The vehicle would have lost control for a reason still unknown and would have rolled over in the central reservation,” she said. The three occupants of the car were then taken to hospital.
For the moment, only one lane remains open in each direction in the area where the collision took place.
