a year later, the bosses of Leclerc stores offer a new festive day to their employees

For the second consecutive year, all the Leclerc stores in Auxerre will close their doors on Tuesday August 23. An idea that germinated last year in the minds of Marie and Jérôme Chaufournais when they were looking for the best way to thank their employees who were put to the test during the Covid-19 pandemic. From now on, it is an appointment that many employees are waiting for!

A moment of complicity, reunion and above all cohesion

Initially, the managers’ idea with this “off” day was to reward the work provided by their employees after a difficult Covid period. But the event was so successful in 2021 that the bosses decided to put the cover back on this year. Because what is proposed is not a simple day of rest, but a festive moment, “of complicity, reunion and above all cohesion”with lotto, aperitif and even barbecue!

At the end of the day, important prizes are up for grabs, such as a trip or even a week of paid vacation.

I dreamed of a company that offered such events

Leclerc d’Auxerre made headlines with last year’s operation. A story that prompted Dylan Bigaud to apply, when he lived seven hours away. Since April 2022 he has been an employee of the company and is eager to participate in his first lottery. “I dreamed of a company where I could have fun, come and leave smiling from work and which offered such events.” Well it’s done for the neo-Auxerrois.

This year, more than 200 dream of shouting Bingo first!
