a woman saved from the flames thanks to the firefighters’ ladder, her dog could not be rescued

The fire that broke out this Saturday morning in an apartment in the Dervallières district of Nantes forced the emergency services to deploy their ladder to help a woman. If the 47-year-old resident of the burning accommodation escaped unscathed, her dog was found dead.

The alert was given shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Twenty firefighters from Loire-Atlantique were mobilized to put out a fire that had broken out a few minutes earlier in an apartment in the Dervallières district of Nantes. The resident of the accommodation, a 47-year-old woman, was rescued safe and sound thanks to the deployment by the firefighters of a pivoting ladder.

Four dogs and cats taken care of by the emergency services

The fire which broke out in this apartment, located on the second floor of a building which has four, forced the thirty residents present, this Saturday morning, to leave the building. The firefighters then came to the end of the disaster but they could not prevent the death of the dog of the person in whom the fire broke out. Four other dogs and cats were rescued.
