A wild boar burst into a middle school in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) on Wednesday March 20. In the images captured by a student, we see the animal, launched at high speed, chasing several young people, who avoided the collision. This is not the first time that wild boars have appeared in this district of the Marseille city. In fact, the animals come from the neighboring calanques park. “At the beginning of the year, we saw another one, but it was much smaller”reports a Marseille student.
A massive arrival
Marseille is not the only city to see wild boars appearing in the middle of the city. Saint-Raphaël (Var) and Saint-Tropez (Var), among others, witnessed their arrival in town. In France, there are now more than a million wild boars. A constantly increasing population.
