A white march was organized on Sunday June 18, in Pas-de-Calais, in tribute to the young Lindsay. Aged 13, she had ended her life after being harassed.

Slogans, taken up with determination by several hundred people. Lindsay’s death continues to move and revolt, far beyond his town of Vendin-le-Vieil (Pas-de-Calais). The 13-year-old schoolgirl committed suicide on May 12, because she was the victim of school harassment. A second white march was organized in his memory, on the morning of Sunday June 18 in the morning. “It does me a lot of good because I tell myself that we are not alone, we have a lot of support“, says his mother.

Four complaints filed

For several weeks, Lindsay’s mother has been the voice of many families facing harassment and often destitute. Four complaints were filed against the college management, the Lille Academy, the police officers who had received the reports and Facebook. The teenager had repeatedly alerted to insults, mockery and threats. In the procession, other victims of harassment were present with their relatives.
