Following the revelation of his evenings in full confinement, Boris Johnson is in bad shape. The British Prime Minister is trying somehow to create a diversion with several controversial measures. The latest: remove the fee affected by the BBC channel.
Boris Johnson wants to restore the return to the army to block migrants, and also wants to put an end to the fee which is used to finance the British news channel BBC. This series of new measures comes just after the scandal of which it has been the subject for several weeks. While the United Kingdom was in full confinement, the British Prime Minister organized several clandestine parties in his residence.
Following this affair, Boris Johnson is threatened with resignation and could face a vote of no confidence, if 54 Conservative MPs request it in writing. “They are for the moment six to have done so publicly”, declares our corresponding journalist Matthieu Boisseau. So to retaliate, Boris Johnson seeks to remobilize its electorate with measures against migrants and the media.
