While the migration crisis rages between Poland and Belarus, European heads of state are negotiating with Minsk (Belarus) to find a favorable outcome. Poland, meanwhile, threatened to build a wall.
Thousands of migrants are massed on the border between Poland and Belarus, seeking by all means to return to Poland. On the other side, Polish soldiers keep watch and block access to the territory. Matthew Chance, journalist at CNN is one of the rare to have been able to penetrate in this zone where the media are little present. The journalist explains that the Poles will not hesitate to use force if necessary.
The Head of State of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko denies the accusations of Europe. The latter accused the President of Belarus of having orchestrated this migratory crisis. On Monday, November 15, the European Union provided for new sanctions against the Minsk regime. In the Middle East, some flights to Minsk are no longer provided as in Iraq or Lebanon. Emmanuel Macron spoke with Vladimir Putin and calls for de-escalation. Poland announced the construction of a border wall with Belarus as early as next month.
