Twenty officers from the Orléans-Saran prison center (Loiret) mobilized early this Thursday morning. A walkout, at the call of the inter-union FO Justice, CGT and Ufap-Unsa, to denounce theaggression of three supervisors of the facility by two inmates earlier this week. A first Tuesday morning in an inmate’s room. The other two Tuesday afternoons during the walk.
The three agents are on sick leave until early May. They go file a complaint specifies Joseph Pita Mukuna, Ufap-Unsa union representative. With this mobilization, the unions hope to obtain answers from the interregional management of prison services and the management of the prison administration. They want specific care for detainees with psychological problems and for those sentenced for acts of violence.
