In the West Bank, the destruction of Palestinian homes continues, and several villages are now threatened. Despite this, many residents decided to stay.

NGOs worried
Behind the barbed wire which forms a border, the Israeli settlement of Har Gilo, which today almost touches Al Walajah. It is a threat to the Palestinians who have decided to stay and live here. NGOs are also more concerned. With the war, the number of destructions of Palestinian homes is expected to increase further, especially if Benjamin Netanyahu remains in power. Last year, Palestinian movements increased by 36%, due in particular to the destruction of homes.
