A video of rapper Diddy’s attack on his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016 revealed by CNN

The American channel broadcast images of this attack which occurred in the corridor of a Los Angeles hotel.

The American television channel CNN broadcast a montage of video surveillance images from a Los Angeles hotel on Friday, May 17, implicating Sean Combs. Dated March 2016, this montage shows an unleashing of violence by the rapper, nicknamed Diddy, against his partner at the time, the R&B singer Casandra Ventura, whose stage name is Cassie.

The global star and New York billionaire hip-hop, 54, who also goes by the names Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, has been caught up since 2023 by several accusations of rape, sexual assault and physical violence and psychological. This is the subject of a civil complaint filed in New York in November by Cassie, who accused her ex-partner of rape in 2018 and of “violent” and “deviant” behavior for a decade, like relationships forced sex with male prostitutes. A few seconds later, a man appears in the corridor and runs after him. This man, who is Diddy, according to the channel, is simply wearing a towel around his waist and socks.

Arriving in front of the elevator, Diddy finds Cassie, grabs her roughly by the neck, throws her very violently to the ground and kicks her while she is on the ground, motionless. Diddy, holding his towel around his waist with one hand, picks up Cassie’s bags with the other and kicks her again, according to the footage. He grabs his partner at the time violently by the hood or the top of his coat, drags her down the corridor for a few meters before abandoning her.

Casandra Ventura slowly gets up, gathers her things and picks up a service phone near the elevator. In another clip from a camera filming a mirror in the hotel hallway, Diddy appears sitting on a chair, in the same outfit, violently throwing a glass vase towards Cassie, who does not appear in the footage.
