The finalists of the last Super Bowl thus continued their streak of success and signed a third consecutive victory. They are now 6-4 and ahead of the Raiders (5-4), Los Angeles Chargers (5-4) and Denver Broncos (5-5).

In today’s matchup, quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 35 of his 50 passes for gains of 406 yards and five touchdowns.

The man of half a billion dollars took advantage of this duel to break a record belonging to Kurt Warner. The Chiefs star is the first to amass 300 or more aerial yards in 30 games and in his first five seasons in the NFL.

Against the Raiders, Mahomes has targeted running back Darrel Williams nine times. The latter caught all of those throws for 101 yards and a major. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill also had an excellent game, having found the zone profitable twice.

On the crowd favorites side, pivot Derek Carr threw two touchdown passes and was the victim of an interception. Ground play was also very well neutralized by the Chiefs’ defense. In total, the Raiders have only amassed 50 yards with their legs.
