a truck loses its load, 26,000 liters of bulk milk

It is 4 a.m. this Sunday, January 16 when the firefighters are called to the town of Chauvé in the Pays-de-Retz at a place called Auviere. A truck that carried 26,000 liters of bulk milk found himself lying on his side. The driver is slightly injured and two-thirds of her load spilled out.

It was necessary to dig 20 meter trenches and set up dams of Earth and of Straw within 500 meters upstream and downstream to prevent the milk from spilling into the nearby field.
