This summer, the Jazz Festival will pay a musical tribute to the most music-loving Quebec filmmaker, Jean-Marc Vallée.
Mixtape: a musical tribute to Jean-Marc Valléewhich will be presented on June 27 at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, will bring together a host of collaborators and friends of the director who died a little over two years ago.
Marc-André Grondin will be the director, Beyries and Jean-Marc Vallée’s son, Alex Vallée, will share artistic direction, while Jean-Phi Goncalves will be in charge of musical direction. On stage, we will find Beyries, Maxime Le Flaguais, Elisapie, Alexandra Stréliski and Martha Wainwright.
