The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat) on Tuesday requested a trial before the criminal court for 13 men and three women suspected of having prepared between 2017 and 2018 violent actions targeting Muslims in France, learned franceinfo Friday June 2 from the Pnat, confirming information from AFP.

These 16 people are members of the group “Action of the operational forces” (AFO), all already placed under judicial supervision, and are mainly suspected of terrorist criminal association. All these people had been indicted in 2018. They are accused of having planned attacks against Muslims.

During numerous searches in 2018, dozens of firearms and thousands of ammunition were found, including elements used in the manufacture of TATP-type explosives.
