A tree fell on the car of an Alsatian motorist in the early afternoon around 12:30 p.m. She was driving on the RD1061. The tree hit the bonnet of the vehicle at Drulingen (Bas-Rhin).
Driver slightly injured
The diameter of the tree measured about ten centimeters approximately according to the firefighters of Drulingen, mobilized on the spot.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was slightly injured. She was transported to Saverne hospital for further examinations.
The tree caused extensive damage to the vehicle’s hood and windshield.
