French rescue workers on the ground have deployed a field hospital which “will serve immediately to treat people in the area”while the local hospital was damaged.

“Today, the emergency is really tents, shelters for people who are outside”, adds Hervé Magro. The French ambassador to Turkey visited the regions affected by the earthquakes, where still floats “a feeling of bewilderment”that touches “officials to the people”.

In a large disaster area “like between Paris and Amsterdam”next to “25 million people are affected”, continues Hervé Magro. The destruction observed by the French ambassador in Turkey is “massive”millions of people are displaced, especially as, “even for apartments or buildings that are not affected, people do not want to go back there until they are sure that their buildings have not been damaged”adds Hervé Magro.
