This Monday, December 12, 2022, the columnist was invited on the airwaves of Sud Radio and confided in her particular “old-fashioned” way of life: “I have a color TV but I must have been one of the last to buy it because I loved black and white and didn’t want a color TV at all.” she revealed. Shocked, the presenter of the show then asked her if she was serious, and the journalist replied: “But of course ! Come home, you’ll see, I even still have the Minitel!“.
If Danielle Moreau has a television, on the other hand, she ignores certain devices deemed essential. “I don’t have a washing machine or an oven. I wash my things in my bathtub, sometimes even at midnight” she explained before justifying herself: “There are no possible connections in my apartment or else everything would have to be broken!“
The columnist went on to reveal that she was raised the hard way and retained her mum and grandmother’s quirks: “Mom loved to wash! I like it a little less but I have to so I do it. So yes, I wash everything in my bathtub” she concluded.
