A tiger runs the streets of Georgia after a tornado destroys a safari park

At least one tiger is on the loose in western Georgia after a tornado ripped through the region as the state endures severe weather, The Independent reports.

The Troup County Sheriff’s Office said it was notified that a tiger was missing from Pine Mountain Animal Safari Park on Sunday, according to The Independent.

The park announced Sunday morning that it was closed for the day.

The tornado tore trees from the ground, caused severe damage to buildings and trapped some people in their homes on Sunday.
