Thursday May 23, Jordan Bardella, head of the National Rally list for the European elections, and Prime Minister Gabriel Attal defended on France 2 two irreconcilable visions of Europe, particularly on economic and climate issues.
Two weeks before the European elections, Jordan Bardella and Gabriel Attal debated on France 2, Thursday May 23. More than an hour of a televised duel, sometimes cacophonous, between two irreconcilable visions of Europe, particularly on economic and climate issues. “We have entire sectors of our economy which are under pressure, economic war and unfair competition from non-European companies. We must protect our internal market with customs duties”said the head of the National Rally list.
“The fight against climate change is the fight of our generation. I am proposing a massive investment plan, 8 billion euros in 2030, for the ecological transition”, declared the Prime Minister for his part. On immigration, nuclear power and even the war in Ukraine, the divide is clear between the two political groups. The RN is at the top of voting intentions for the European elections ahead of the Renaissance list.
