On Wednesday March 9, a teacher from the Jacques Brel college in Villers-Bretonneux in the Somme was indicted and remanded in custody for acts of sexual assault on students at the school.
Corruption of minors under 15 and over 15, sexual assault on minors over 15 by person in authority and sexual assault by person in authority.
These are the charges brought against a music teacher from the college of Villers-Bretonneux in the Somme, indicted on Wednesday March 9 at the end of his police custody. A judicial inquiry is open.
The 46-year-old man was transferred and remanded in custody the same day. He is accused by 8 victims, “for the moment”specifies the public prosecutor of Amiens, to have sent them “messages, and in some cases photographs, with a sexual connotation. For some victims, these are old facts. For others, the facts are recent”.
If one of these victims was 17 years old at the time of the events, the others were 14 or 15 years old. One of them also declared to have undergone “sexual caresses” many years ago from this professor.
No act of rape has been reported. The investigation, entrusted to the gendarmerie, will have to determine if other victims exist. A college teacher, the man also gave lessons at the city’s music school.
