The investigation into the shooting death of a municipal employee in Grenoble is progressing. A man “known to justice” has been identified and is “actively sought”announced the Grenoble prosecutor on Monday, September 9, confirming information from Dauphine Liberated.

“A suspect in the murder of Lilian Dejean has been identified and is being actively sought. Four searches took place yesterday [dimanche] and today [lundi] in places where he is likely to inhabit. The man is known to the courts for various offences”the Grenoble public prosecutor told the press.

“This is an unheard of violence that has befallen our colleague”reacted on Monday the ecologist mayor Eric Piolle during a tribute from the steps of the Town Hall. “We can’t stand these guns everywhere anymore”he said, expressing his “sadness” and his “anger”.
