The full moon is expected on July 3 from 6:39 a.m., but it is during the night of Monday to Tuesday that it will be closest to the Earth at its perigee.
Obviously to be able to enjoy this spectacle it is necessary to wish that the sky is clear of clouds and smoke caused by the forest fires.
The Moon will appear between 7 and 14% larger than usual and 30% brighter.
This is the first supermoon of the year and three more are expected.
After that of July 3, there will be two others in August, on August 1 and 28. Then, a last one on September 29.
