Friday, May 20, a young girl found herself trapped inside a flooded elevator in a recent building in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise). The explosion of a pipe caused a rise in water levels which could have cost him his life.
A man, submerged to the waist, desperately tries to open an elevator, in a building in Sarcelles (Val-d-Oise). Her sister has been locked inside for forty minutes and the water continues to rise. 24 hours later, Saturday May 21, the young student is still upset. “At that time, I was thinking about the fact that I was going to die, that my family was going to find me dead in an elevator (…). I would have drowned”testifies the young girl.
When the water begins to enter the elevator, the young girl films herself with her mobile phone. The emergency button does not respond and there is no network. Alerted by her cries, her brothers descend into the parking lot, which is then flooded, but they are unable to free their sister. The firefighters managed to save the young woman in extremis. The siblings live in a new building that has been occupied for seven months. The tenants complain of several defects.
