A new and most horrible drama has just struck France. This Wednesday, February 22, 2023, a Spanish teacher from Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin high school located in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) was stabbed by a student in her class, in the middle of class.
A 16-year-old high school student revealed to France Bleu pays basque that the 16-year-old high school student would have got up in the middle of class, holding in his hand a knife concealed in paper. According to the police, he first closed the door of the room before heading towards the teacher and stabbing her in the chest. A fatal blow since the teacher quickly died, as a result of this violent injury.

A few hours after the tragedy, one of the professor’s students was on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” to pay tribute to him live on C8. “She was a passionate teacher, she loved her job, she wanted to do everything for us to succeed. She was not very strict, not very authoritarian. She was really an ideal teacher, she is the one that the we all wanted to have. I only have very good memories with her.
