A strike in Donetsk kills six on the eve of the vote to join Donbass and two regions of southern Ukraine to Russia

A strike left six dead and injured on the morning of Thursday, September 22, on a market in Donetsk, a city in Donbass held by the pro-Russians. This attack took place on the eve of a crucial referendum, a consultation on the attachment to Russia of this region and three others. The vote will therefore be held in the middle of a war zone. The windows of a school, which will serve as a polling station, were shattered a few days ago.
