A strike at the Toulouse University Hospital this Tuesday to demand salary increases

The staff of the Toulouse University Hospital is called to strike and demonstrate this Tuesday, June 7 at the call of the CGT and Sud. The two unions believe that the Ségur de la santé is a failure and that there is an urgent need to significantly increase salaries so that the hospital becomes attractive again. Many emergency services in France, particularly in Auch (Gers) and Moissac (Tarn-et-Garonne), are forced to adapt their schedules due to lack of staff. For some unions, an “atrocious” summer is beginning for the French healthcare system, with many deaths in sight.

The emergencies of the Toulouse University Hospital could be disrupted from this Monday, management holds a press conference at 1 p.m.

There is a shortage of 1,500 staff at the Toulouse University Hospital, according to these two unions. The event will start at 2 p.m. from the Saint-Cyprien metro on Tuesday, the procession will go to the war memorial, at François Verdier station.
