It is a case which had caused much ink to flow. Even today, everyone remembers it. In 2015, Patrice Laffont was in turmoil. At the heart of a real bad buzz, the host of “Fort Boyard” is accused of having slapped Passe Partout. An archive video is unveiled and has accumulated millions of views to date. The case is growing. So much so that Patrice Laffont is forced to react. In 2019, on the set of “La Grande Darka” hosted by Cyril Hanouna on C8, Patrice Laffont reviews the images and explains: “The truth is that there is a sound effect. ‘hear nothing (…) It was somebody’s wrongdoing, I want to say it, they wanted to harm me “.
If Patrice Laffont had not wished to reveal the name of the one who would like to “harm” him, it is now done! “This story was edited by a malicious comrade who put on the sound of a big slap … Oh, I don’t care, I say it: it was Julien Lepers”, explains Patrice Laffont in the columns of “Télé Star” . But why would Julien Lepers want to harm Patrice Laffont? The former host of “Fort Boyard” admits having “criticized” Julien Lepers in the past. And for good reason: “On Intervilles, I did not find it good at all”. The tensions between the two men never ceased thereafter. Approached by the production of “I am a celebrity, get me out of here” several years ago, Patrice Laffont had confessed to having refused to participate because of Julien Lepers. “As there is Julien, I will not go”, he said on the set of Cyril Hanouna.
As a reminder, Patrice Laffont was at the helm of “Fort Boyard” for ten seasons before being replaced by Jean-Pierre Castaldi. “I left my shows each time by taking the lead. I went around in circles in the Fort, I always repeated the same thing”, he also confides in the columns of “Télé Star”.
