The city of Catania (Sicily) has not finished with bad weather. After flooding and several damage that occurred at the start of the week, a storm is forecast for the night of Thursday 28 to Friday 29 October.

In Catania, the floods and damage at the start of the week will be followed by a storm forecast for the night of Thursday 28 to Friday 29 October. “The storm is coming, it will hit Sicily overnight with extremely violent winds above 120 km / h, and rains announced as torrential”, explains journalist Alain Mikoczy live for France 2.
Shops closed and residents sheltered until further notice
Residents are strongly encouraged to stay at their homes for at least 24 hours, or even until further notice. Several of them have already taken several precautions by closing their houses and returning their boats to the strike. The still numerous tourists will also have to stay sheltered. All businesses have closed their doors, at the request of the authorities who wish to limit the risks.
