A storm complicates travel and forces the closure of schools

The weather conditions make travel difficult in several regions of Quebec on Friday and force the closure of schools in many school service centers.

Rain on Thursday followed by snow on Friday made roads slippery in several places. Environment Canada has also issued alerts for most areas where visibility could be reduced due to snow.

However, this snow should end around midday.

The precipitation is also disrupting flights at Montréal-Trudeau airport.
