The three-starred chef Régis Marcon has invited himself into the kitchens of an EHPAD in Gironde. A high-end menu to delight the taste buds of the oldest.
In an EHPAD in Gironde, residents are delighted: they can enjoy a meal concocted by a three-starred chef. “Not only am I enjoying it, but it’s been ages since I’ve eaten morels“, launches one of them. A joy that is also found in the kitchen. “Cooking with a Michelin-starred chef is still pretty”, launches one of the cooks. All have learned a lesson from the great chef: food can be sublimated even if it has to be mixed.
Two hours in the kitchen for a gastro menu
In all, they will have spent two hours in the kitchen for a menu that is both appetizing and tasty. Régis Marcon, the starred chef then prepares a small soup for the residents. “I know the elders love it”he smiles. “Afterwards, we make a chicken stuffed with mushrooms with a little juice”, he adds. Here, everything is designed for seniors, to delight the taste buds but also the eyes. Winning result: the plates are empty.
