A star of “Marseillais” mistakenly announces the death of first lady Brigitte Macron instead of Elizabeth II!

This Thursday, September 8, 2022, Buckingham Palace sadly announced the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The monarch who had just celebrated her 70 years of reign died in the afternoon at the age of 96 and made history by becoming the English sovereign with the longest reign, she who had exceeded for a long time the record of his great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria (63 years old).

For the past few hours, tributes have been raining down on social networks and little words have been pouring in from Internet users as well as politicians and public figures.

A reality TV candidate slips
By also wanting to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, Océane El Himer, a reality TV candidate known for her participation in “Marseillais”, literally slipped. The pretty brunette has indeed shared a photo of the first lady Brigitte Macron with the dates of birth and death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Faced with the outcry, Océane hastened to delete her story and explain herself: “In no case did I want to make self-mockery or a comparison. I was on Instagram, I came across the first story of a friend, suddenly I reposted directly without thinking it was self-mockery, I thought it was real” she says, explaining that her friend wanted to make a joke and that she reposted the picture without paying attention.

“My apologies to Mrs. Brigitte Macron and when I knew that it was not good information, I immediately deleted. Good to hear” she concluded.
