a sound and light show that pays homage to the women of opera

A wonderful apparition: the White Lady, from the opera of the same name, twirls in a cloud of stars. Colors that adorn the facade, music … In Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), the show is millimeter. In the crowd, the wonder is palpable. “It had been years since we had seen such a jovial and joyous show”, confides a passerby.

Every evening, in the center of the square, Alieg Bertin, technician, ensures the smooth running of the show. “I have a view of the whole show, it’s a certain privilege”, he admits. This year, there are seven paintings that make up the show and that enliven the facade of the Town Hall. The Magic Flute, Carmen… Well-known arias that the spectators sing about. “We leave the place with the desire to come back, and perhaps also to visit the opera. A world which is not forbidden”, concludes Benoît Guéro, founder of the company “Spectaculaire!”.
