The experimentation with cannabis for therapeutic use ends on Tuesday March 26. Thus, Antoine Robin was on the set of 12/13 to talk about “Cannabis”, the documentary which questions the legalization of cannabis, which he co-wrote and directed (broadcast on April 2 on France 5). Through his investigation Antoine Robin notes that often, the legalization of cannabis for therapeutic use is “a sort of Trojan horse to then move towards the legalization of cannabis”. And for good reason, this process was followed by Canada, the United States, Uruguay, and more recently by Germany.
“It can have a lot of side effects.”
While the documentary talks about 6 million regular cannabis users, Antoine Robin assures that a third of them are under 25 years old. “It can create addictions, and then it can have a lot of unwanted effects”warns Damien Mascret, doctor and health journalist.
