Faced with the increase in the number of emergency room closures in Quebec and the inability of the health network to meet the needs of doctors, we suggest asking for the help and involvement of Médecins sans frontières or Doctors of the world, organizations of doctors recognized in the world, each time the authorities of the CIUSSS or the CISSS warn us that they are closing, here or there, their emergencies, in Senneterre, Coaticook, Lachine or wherever in Quebec.
This will cover places where people might need to see a doctor urgently while the emergency is closed. We will thus help to save lives and especially the protocols, the respect of which is so precious for our network administrators.
