On land in Hambach (Moselle), a giant photovoltaic panel factory should soon to be created. Holosolis, a European and Chinese conglomerate, will invest 710 million euros in it. On course for 2025
Indeed, 1,700 jobs should be created thanks to the installation of this plant. So for a baker in the town, this novelty will help to energize the region. “We were betting a lot on our other shop in Hambach where we plan to make a tea room”, he says. Residents filled with hope after a failure. A previous project to install a solar panel factory had already seen the light of day at the start of the year. But it was eventually cancelled.
