“A small bone” belonging to the child found last week in the Haut-Vernet sector

“A small bone” apartment in Emile was discovered last week in the Haut-Vernet sector (Alpes de Haute-Provence), reports France Bleu Provence, Monday April 4 after obtaining the information from the Aix prosecutor. en-Provence, confirming information from Le Parisien.

The prosecution adds that it is a “tiny bone” and specifies that the“we do not know at this stage to which part of the child’s body it may belong”. This new element was discovered “sometime last week, Wednesday or Thursday” in the search area located near the hamlet of Haut-Vernet. Specifically, the bone was found in the area where the child’s skull and clothing had already been discovered about ten days ago. DNA analyzes then made it possible to establish this Monday that the bone really belongs to the little boy, who disappeared last July.

Concerning the system put in place, around a hundred gendarmes remain mobilized on the scene with the support of around ten legionnaires from the foreign engineering regiment. The hamlet is closed to the public until April 15.
