A scenario, a sort of reconstruction of the afternoon of the disappearance of little Émile, will be organized next Thursday, March 28 in the hamlet of Haut-Vernet, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, we have learned Wednesday March 20 franceinfo from consistent sources, confirming information from RTL.

This legal operation is a new stage in the investigation, eight and a half months after the mysterious disappearance of the two and a half year old boy on the afternoon of July 8. Its aim will be to retrace, minute by minute, the movements and events, even trivial ones, remembered by the people present this afternoon in the hamlet.

The idea is to place these people in the same space-time to check the consistency of the different witnesses, in particular those of little Émile’s family.

Émile, two and a half years old, disappeared on July 8 in the hamlet of Haut-Vernet, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, while he was on vacation with his grandparents. He had escaped their surveillance. A flagrant investigation was opened on July 9 to “search for causes of worrying disappearance”. At the end of August, it then went into preliminary investigation for “arbitrary kidnapping, arrest, detention and sequestration”.
