In Ukraine, a Russian missile hit a shopping center in Kremenchuk, in the center of the country, Monday, June 27, 2022. The city is located 400 kilometers from the front line. Inside, after the bombardment, the atmosphere of the shopping center is unbreathable. A man films the scene and manages to get out of the rubble. The report shows at least 10 dead and 40 injured, according to local authorities. Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, clarified that “the occupiers fired a missile at a shopping center where more than a thousand civilians were present. (…) The number of victims is impossible to imagine“.

Amid the din of ambulance sirens, one resident described a sudden attack: “I had just closed the window and walked away when I heard a boom“, he explains. The victims are evacuated in emergency. It remains to be seen whether the shopping center was directly targeted.
