Support from France
Within the European Union, the condemnations are unanimous. Emmanuel Macron spoke with the Israeli Prime Minister, reaffirming France’s support. In Russia, the main television channel made this new escalation its main title. But the authorities, for their part, called for an immediate ceasefire.
