“It’s a miracle that he survived until today! Our only dream is that he comes back to us”, affirms one of the brothers of Yuksel who, accompanied by his son, testifies in front of the cameras of seven to eight this Sunday February 19, 2023. They are leaving Cochin hospital in Paris, where they were able to see the son of Yuksel, a six-year-old child very seriously injured in the road accident which took place on Friday February 10 in Seine et Marne. Pierre Palmade, accompanied by two men, was driving under the influence of drugs. The latter violently crashed into the vehicle coming from opposite that Yuksel was driving. On board, his 26-year-old sister-in-law, almost 7 months pregnant and who lost her baby, as well as her six-year-old son who is still in serious condition.

Yuksel’s brother and son report what they know about this one: “Currently the doctors are treating him, they just said there were two spots on the brain. I was told that we had to wait to find out what the consequences would be” announces the father. His son, meanwhile, adds: “He has the left side of his head which is really cracked, the skin which is really torn, we spoke to him a little, he answered, he moved his hand, his feet. He couldn’t make sentences or anything long enough. He had a very sore jaw. He made gestures sometimes when he was in too much pain.”, he concludes.
As for the father of the young boy, he is still immersed in an artificial coma. His brother explains: “We tried to wake him up but the doctors told us that his pain had increased further. So they put him back to sleep. And we’re still waiting for him to wake up.
When he was operated on after the accident, he had holes in his aorta, his organs were out of place, he had both legs broken, both arms, the whole body was broken… it’s a miracle he got survived until today! Our only dream is that he comes back to us.” The opportunity for this man, moved, to present a photo of Yuksel on his hospital bed.
The man was a mason in asbestos removal, and, questioned on their side, his two cousins doubt very much that he will be able to resume his activity one day. “He will be 80% disabled for sure andcertain”, they advance. We wish them the speediest of recoveries.
