A SpaceX vessel sent two astronauts to the International Space Station on Saturday, September 28, to bring back two astronauts stuck in the ISS since June.

Nick Hague and Alexandre Gorbounov arrived at the International Space Station on Saturday September 28. The landing was successful for the two astronauts sent aboard a SpaceX vessel. Eagerly awaited, they came to rescue two space veterans, stuck on board the ISS for three months. “I know it’s going to be an amazing expedition, so I’m really looking forward to getting to work here.”says Nick Hague, NASA astronaut.

Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams arrived in June, aboard a Boeing Starliner. Initially, they were only supposed to stay a week aboard the ISS, but after several technical problems were detected, NASA preferred to take the risk of an extended stay for them and sent Starliner back to Earth, empty . This new vessel, which arrived on Saturday September 28, should allow their return. The astronauts will leave in February.
