A climbing accident occurred this Thursday afternoon around 2 p.m. in the town of Brouzet-lès-Alès in the Gard. A 32 year old man fell five meters in a difficult to access area. Nine firefighters intervened, including five specialized for interventions in perilous environments. A Civil Security helicopter also visited the site.
The victim was winched and transported to the Lapeyronie CHU in Montpellier.
